Tragedy near Adelaide as man dies after his car collides with a huge truck – with a three-year-old boy narrowly escaping the accident without a scratch

A man has been killed while a toddler escaped uninjured after a horror late night crash between a car and truck south of Adelaide.

Emergency services raced to the scene at Willunga Hill around 10pm on Wednesday following reports of a collision between a Toyota sedan and prime mover.

The driver of sedan died at the scene.

A man and his three-year-old passenger from Kangaroo Island, were not injured but were taken to Flinders Medical Centre and kept under observation.
