Transgender woman spends $75,000 to look like Kylie Jenner

A transgender woman has spent over $75,000 (£50,000) on surgery to look like her idol Kylie Jenner.

Kyleigh Potts, 23, from Denver, Colorado, is admittedly obsessed with the new-mother and is determined to emulate her in every way.

Growing-up she empathised with Kylie, as she felt like an ‘outcast’ and ‘ugly duckling’ who didn’t fit in, but after seeing her transformation she too became inspired.

Kyleigh started lip-fillers three-years-ago and has now had over 40 procedures, regularly topping-up every three months.

To further resemble the reality TV star, Kyleigh went under the knife three-months-ago to turn her hormone-grown A cup breasts into 34DDDs, had a chin implant and work on her nose.

While Kyleigh has relied on some surgery during her transition, she maintains she will keep her male genitalia as she is comfortable living as gender non-conforming and won’t be ‘put in a box’.

She believes her transition was destiny, having grown-up as boy named Kyle Leigh, the nearest name equivalent to her idol Kylie Jenner.

Kyleigh, an aspiring aesthetics injector, said: ‘I have spent the last four years perfecting my transition into the beautiful woman I always knew I was.

‘Kylie Jenner has always been my ultimate goal and inspiration, I feel like I have always emulated her and like her I didn’t start out beautiful, I built myself beautiful.

‘When I saw her come into herself and transform from the ugly duckling to the b**** everybody wants to be – every girl wants to be her, and every guy wants to sleep with her.

‘I resonated with that, I always thought I was unattractive, ugly and never enough through the trauma of being bullied that I found confidence through altering myself.

‘I turned to dermal fillers in attempts to make everything better, I spent my first two years doing that extensively to the point where my lips were huge.

‘Then I wanted to change my appearance, I felt like a man but who I was on the inside didn’t match my physical appearance and how I appear to everyone else.

‘My facial structure is very similar to hers, when I had my recent surgeries they asked me to bring in pictures of my inspiration and desired look, every image was of Kylie Jenner.

‘I found Dolly Parton’s plastic surgeon, because I wanted the biggest breasts possible, to feminise my face by making my chin more rounded and alter my nose to look like Kylie’s

‘I went from no breasts at all, only developing small tissue from hormones, to 650cc implants that have given me 34DDD breasts.

‘People tell me I look like Kylie Jenner a lot, it was always a joke among my friends and I refer to myself as King Kyleigh, I even have it tattooed on my bicep.

‘Whenever I go grocery shopping everyone’s heads turn that happens no matter what, I don’t pay a lot of attention to it – I’m used to walking into somewhere and having the whole room stare at me.’

From the age of eight, Kyleigh was fascinated with the plastic surgery she watched on TV shows, and as a child who felt she didn’t fit in, dreamed of altering her body.

She was bullied for being different at school, which she believes attributed to find acceptance in herself through modification, initially inspired by Pete Burns.

Kyleigh said: ‘I was bullied for being different, I was always around women and when I tried to branch out and develop friendships with men my feelings would get hurt.

‘They would be playing rough or joking around and then would ask why I was ‘crying’, so I decided to go back to playing with my dolls and the girls.

‘Another of my big inspirations was Pete Burns, there was a point where he looked so interesting and cool, there was nobody else like him.

‘Like Pete Burns said I’m never going to stop because there’s always going to be something new.’

Kyleigh has taken female hormones for close to two years as part of her transition, her dosages are balanced so that she can still function sexually with her male organs.

She is proud of the fact she will keep her male genitals and believes other transitioning people should not feel they have to be defined by dated male or female norms.

Kyleigh added: ‘Unlike most transgender women, I am proud of the fact that I have male genitalia, I never wish to change them.

‘My doctors tailor my hormones so there is a high-enough testosterone level to allow me to still use my male genitalia during sex.

‘I have no plans to remove them, there are too many constraints on gender where people believe they have to choose male or female.

‘I’m happy how I am and will not be put into a box, I feel comfortable having a penis and 34DDD breasts.’

In November last year, she went under the knife for the first time with Dolly Parton’s plastic surgeon and multiple others, for three different surgeries over nine hours.

She had a rhinoplasty and septoplasty to alter the shape of her nose and realign the nostrils, as well as a chin implant to give her more defined cheek bones and 650CC breast implants.

With numerous future surgeries planned, she’s no signs of slowing down as she will continue to transition, using Kylie Jenner as the aesthetic muse for her new body.

Kyleigh said: ‘Kylie Jenner for me sat in the shadows of the Kardashian family for years and was the ‘ugly duckling’, she hadn’t discovered herself or the woman she was – I empathise with her a lot.

‘My next plans are to have more facial work done, voice feminization surgery, and buttock augmentation.

‘I want to get butt implants, to pin and reshape my ears, a bullhorn lip lift, a blepharoplasty to help open up my eyes, lower my hair line, and voice change.’

Kyleigh is joining the Plastics of Hollywood, an online community for people who want to modify themselves that will be adapted into a TV Show.

Dubbed ‘the biggest plastic family in the world’ by manager Marcela Iglesias, their group includes Rodrigo Alves, Pixee Fox, Jennifer Pamplona, Vinny Ohh, Justin Jedlica and many more.

Marcela, from Los Angeles, California, USA, said: ‘Who better than Kylie Jenner, the Queen of Instagram, to join us, we have Barbie dolls, Ken dolls, Aliens, Britney Spears and more.

‘We have Kim Kardashian through Jennifer Pamplona and now we also have our very own Kylie Jenner.

‘I think she will be a great addition to the show, she is similar to Kylie in personality, she even talks like her.

‘I’m personally glad that she’s fulfilling her dream, she has not finished with surgery yet and I cannot wait to see her full transformation.

‘I would never have modified myself at 23-years-old, but she has something in her mind that makes her go for it – she has incredible results that she should be very happy with.

‘The show is about fantastic human beings, not just their surgeries, but their inner worlds, what they have done and them striving to become a known personality in the Los Angeles – the entertainment capital of the world.’

The Plastics of Hollywood have spent a combined total exceeding $3million between them, altering their bodies through plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.

Despite this, Marcela, their manager, hasn’t had any surgery and maintains that it is not for anyone, nor should it be seen as a way to fix deeper problems.

She said: ‘I did consider doing plastic surgeries, but something told me just to wait, I know I am not perfect, but I have learned to love and accept myself, and decided against it.

‘This show is not encouraging plastic surgery, anyone who believes they could have body dysmorphia or low self-esteem should see a psychiatrist not a surgeon.

‘Plastic surgery will not cure any psychological problems – I want to encourage people who need it to seek the right help.’
