A 46-year-old travel blogger who looks half her age is forging a career on Instagram and puts her youthful appearance down to healthy eating and ‘good genes’.
Danielle Greentree, 46, has travelled to 70 countries and spent the last three years documenting her voyages to 90,000 social media followers on Travel A Little Luxe.
But while the Sydney-born beauty garners a number of likes for the azure skies and inviting turquoise waters she poses beside, her fans are equally impressed by her fit physique and ageless face.

‘You have such a killer bikini body… I can’t believe you’re in your 40s,’ one person wrote.
‘Hot stuff! You’re winning at this Instagram game,’ added another.
Danielle attributes her stunning good looks to genetics, Instagram filters and taking her diet and fitness very seriously, Jam Press reported.
‘The reality of being forty-something means you just don’t wake up in the mornings looking fresh-faced and 21 anymore.
‘So, if you are thinking of becoming a fashion, lifestyle or travel influencer you will need to have a healthy dose of self esteem,’ she said.

‘I grew up on the beach, and I have always been very sporty and active whilst eating healthy, so for me it comes quite easy,’ she said
‘Since I became a social media influencer I am more conscious about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Danielle, who originally worked in finance and human resources, only created an Instagram account to share photos of her holiday to the Maldives with her family.
‘I panicked when strangers started liking my posts as that was never my intention,’ she said.
‘I had no idea what a hashtag was. I didn’t use Facebook so I really had no idea about global reach or the social media network.’
Just a week after she started posting, one of her images from Tahiti went viral and her photos were being shared and published by others.

‘I was juggling my social media side hustle with my full-time career and being offered partnerships with brands,’ she said
‘Really, I simply just fell into it all by accident,’ she said.

She eventually received enough work through Instagram to allow her to quit her day job, and believes being 46 has only helped with her success.
‘Being in my 40s I can bring lots of life and business experiences to any new collaboration and partnership,’ she said.

But that doesn’t mean attending parties and events with the young ladies in the business of travelling isn’t intimidating.
‘I sometimes stand out at influencer events,’ she said.
‘I think they are all half my age! But that’s okay, in fact it was fabulous and I had loads of fun with them.’
Those who want to walk down the same career path, particularly if it’s later in life, will need self-confidence and pride, Danielle explained.
‘The ability to create inspiring and authentic content will actually help you stand out. And that’s a good thing so embrace it,’ she said

‘Don’t compare yourself to the images we so often see on our screens of young, carefree and tanned free spirits travelling the world for free.
‘You don’t have to be that to be a successful social media influencer. You just need to be yourself.’
