Travis Kelce returns to Chiefs practice after ‘comforting Taylor Swift about foiled terrorist attack on Eras Tour’

Travis Kelce was back on the practice field on Thursday after three Taylor Swift shows were cancelled due to the threat of a terrorist attack.

Police foiled a plot to attack Swift’s concerts in Vienna, with the two suspects apparently inspired by the Islamic State group and al-Qaida.

Investigators found bomb-making materials at one of their homes, while one suspect confessed to planning to ‘kill as many people as possible outside the concert venue.’

After the shocking news emerged, Kelce reportedly spent hours on the phone to his pop star girlfriend, supporting her from halfway across the road.

According to The Sun, the 34-year-old even suggested flying to Europe to be with Swift.

Instead he stayed in Kansas City and on Thursday it was back to the day job for the tight end, who is in training camp ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

Kelce was pictured on the practice field alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the back-to-back Super Bowl champions prepare to defend their crown.

According to The Sun, Kelce quickly reached out to Swift after hearing about the foiled terror threat. The couple spoke for hours, with the tight end determined to be her ‘rock’.

Concert organizers in Austria said they had expected up to 65,000 fans inside the stadium at each concert and as many as 30,000 onlookers outside, where authorities said the suspects planned to strike.

Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, spent most of his offseason travelling with Swift as she toured the globe on her wildly popular Eras Tour – visiting Australia, Singapore and multiple countries in Europe.
