Travis Kelce sheds light on ‘biased’ Taylor Swift’s NFL plays after Patrick Mahomes revealed popstar draws up route for Chiefs

Days after Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes hinted Taylor Swift drawing up plays for the team, the Robin to his Batman – and Swift’s boyfriend – Travis Kelce confirmed the singer’s interest in football.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Kelce praised how meticulous Swift is in everything she does. He then revealed how her attention to detail translates into her attempts to draw up plays.

‘She has just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything. I think what makes her so good in her profession is she’s so detailed in every aspect of it,’ Kelce said of Swift.

‘From the words to the music — even the releases and music videos. She’s so detailed and a part of it that I think she was just curious about the profession

While noting how Swift’s plays had not reached coach Andy Reid’s radar, Kelce said to ‘make sure everyone knows it was her creation,’ if they executed one of her calls on the field.

Kelce praised Swift for her special attention to detail in everything she does 

‘But they exist? There’s actually something written down?’ Eisen asked to confirm.

‘She’s a little biased – she just creates plays for me,’ the tight end confessed with a laugh. ‘We’ll see if they can make it to Coach Reid’s office.’

Mahomes previously revealed in an interview with NFL on NBC that Swift is ‘really interested in football and asks a lot of great questions.’

The three-time Super Bowl MVP added that ‘She started drawing up plays, we might have to put one in.’

Furthermore, Mahomes acknowledged the impact of Swift’s presence at NFL games.

‘I think it’s been cool to see the girls and the women that have really embraced watching football. I know being a girl dad, how cool it is for me to see these little girls — these daughters — and how much they’re loving to spend time with their dad, watching football,’ Mahomes explained, referring to his and his wife Brittany and three-year-old daughter Sterling.

‘And then meeting Taylor, realizing how genuine and cool she is. I think that’s been special to me because she’s, like you said, the most famous person in the world, she could not be,’ he added.

While they share two kids, Brittany is pregnant with their third child. After Kelce and Swift began dating last season, the two WAGs naturally became close friends.

The two couples were seen hanging out at Swift’s Rhode Island mansion in August with Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce, and Gigi Hadid.
