Kansas City star Travis Kelce will move into acting once he is done with the NFL. That’s according to Chiefs hero Nick Lowery, who studied theater at college before embarking on a football career.

Kelce has developed into one of the NFL’s biggest personalities over recent years, particularly since he began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift.

The Chiefs tight end is the face of several commercials and was even dubbed ‘Mr Pfizer’ by Aaron Rodgers after starring in an advertisement to promote the coronavirus vaccine.

Lowery was initially a theater major during his days at Dartmouth and the Chiefs Hall of Fame kicker believes Kelce will follow him into the world of performing.

‘His personality, he’s going to go into acting, I mean I can just see it,’ Lowery told Michele Tafoya.

Lowery, who spent 13 years with the Chiefs and also played for the Patriots and Jets, also offered his thoughts on Kelce’s relationship with Swift.

‘If anybody could handle it, it’s Travis Kelce,’ he said on the romance which has taken over the NFL in recent weeks.

‘If he was 26 or 27, he’s 33, she’s 33, this ain’t their first rodeo. He’s won two Super Bowls, he’s hosted Saturday Night Live , he’s on almost as many as Taylor, maybe more.’

Swift has been a regular in the stands at Chiefs games recently. But the singer was absent as Kelce and Co fell to the Denver Broncos last weekend.

‘He does seem to play as well or better when she’s in the stadium,’ Lowery added.
