Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has chosen her side for the US presidential election – and it’s decidedly different from Brittany Mahomes’.
After Brittany, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick, liked a Donald Trump post on social media, Nicole made her allegiances clear on Friday as she re-posted a photo of a young girl watching Democratic nominee Kamala Harris speak at the DNC.
Nicole did not make any direct references to Trump or her former friend Brittany.
However, Nicole’s Instagram story of Harris certainly struck a different tone than Brittany has in recent days, after observant social media users saw the soon-to-be mother of three liking a Trump post mapping out 16 of his policies to his 26.3million followers.
The post discussed topics ranging from immigration to the economy.

And after Mahomes’ like was made public, she fired back at ‘haters’ with an angry post to her Instagram story.
‘I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,’ she wrote.
‘There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well,’ she added.
Notably, a tweet from 2017 in which Brittany appeared unamused with Trump during his presidency has also resurfaced.
Beyond the reaction that she’s gotten online, Brittany’s apparent recent endorsement of Trump’s policies could have real-world ramifications on her friendship with pop star Taylor Swift, who is dating her husband’s teammate and close friend Kelce.
Previously, Swift has expressed her disdain for Trump and endorsed his former rival Joe Biden for the 2020 election.
And some fans now think that Brittany and Taylor’s relationship could take a hit.
One wrote on X: ‘Well it looks like Brittany can forget posting up with Taylor Swift in the skyboxes from now on. Could seriously strain their tik tok relationship’.
Another posted: ‘This season is gonna be awkward in the stadium suites with Brittany and Taylor Swift.’

With Travis and his teammate Patrick Mahomes close friends, Taylor and Brittany have struck up a close friendship, as the pair have been seen watching Chiefs games together.
Kelce and Swift have been publicly dating since last fall, with the massive music star watching him take on the Bears at Arrowhead Stadium for the first time in September.
The tight end and Nicole began dating in 2017 and were in an on-off relationship for five years.
