As rumors swirl about Taylor Swift writing a song about Travis Kelce and including it in her upcoming album, Kelce’s ex-girlfriend is clapping back at Swifties who are attacking her.

Social media influencer Kayla Nicole has posted on social media ahead of the release of Swift’s upcoming album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.

‘I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol,’ Nicole, 32, tweeted Thursday.

‘Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either. Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.’

A number of Swift fans have been blasting Nicole in her comments and in other tweets after she appeared to ‘throw shade’ at the musician ahead of the album’s Friday release.

Some Swifties managed to snatch an early listen thanks to a leak of the album and some think at least one song is about Kelce.

‘The Alchemy’ apparently has multiple references that fans have interpreted to be about Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce.

One fan took to X and wrote: ‘the alchemy is clearly about travis lmao touchdown, greatest in the league, gloves on the bench… ‘where’s the trophy he just comes running over to me’

Another said: ‘There is one beautiful surprise – The Alchemy is about Travis!

‘References touchdowns, teammates, trophies and how they had an instant connection they couldn’t resist.’

A different fan responded to a wider discussion about the record by saying: ‘I also think the alchemy is about Travis. It fits perfectly.’

Speaking about the upcoming release back in February, when he was building up to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Kelce said he had heard some of the songs on Swift’s latest release.

‘I have heard some of it and yes, it’s unbelievable,’ he said to reporters. ‘I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops.’

The couple went public last September, when the singer turned up to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to watch Travis and the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears.

Swift, 34, went to 13 Chiefs games overall, including the Super Bowl in Vegas, where she raced back from Tokyo, Japan to see Kelce win football’s ultimate prize for a third time.

He is expected to join her where possible for a number of her upcoming European tour dates. The four-month run starts next month in Paris.

After winning the Super Bowl, Kelce traveled to Australia and Singapore to see Swift perform as her Eras Tour went global.

It remains to be seen whether Swift incorporates any new material on the European tour and whether Kelce gets more of a direct shoutout from her.

She has previously changed lyrics in her song ‘Karma’ to reference ‘the guy on the Chiefs coming home to me’.
