Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be out for ‘weeks’ with a ‘hamstring issue’ that he picked up during Liverpool’s clash with Arsenal. 

The Liverpool boss confirmed the status of Alexander-Arnold’s injuring during his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s FA Cup tie with Nottingham. 

He said that it would be ‘weeks’ before Alexander-Arnold could play again and said that the right-back would not be meeting up with the England squad later this month.

Klopp also said that Mo Salah was struggling with an injury. Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Nottingham, Klopp said: ‘Trent is out with a hamstring. 

‘He will be out for England too. Not good news, we will see how long it takes. Mo felt his foot a little bit after the game too.’
