Tributes flood in for Billy Graham after the WWE superstar passed away aged 79 as 16-time world champion Ric Flair hails the Hall-of-Famer’s ‘influence on my career’

Tributes have come in for Billy Graham, after the 79-year-old’s death following a battle with a ‘myriad of health issues’.

A GoFundMe page had been set up to support Graham’s family, which claimed that he had been in hospital for a number of months, moving to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for several weeks. 

Graham passed away on Wednesday, with his family informing TMZ that he had been taken off life support. 

And several former wrestlers have taken to Twitter to share their heartfelt messages for their departed colleague, who spent 18 years in the sport. 

Ric Flair was quick to hail the American’s impact on his own stellar career, writing: ‘The Superstar Billy Graham Just Left Us. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR INFLUENCE On My Career!’

The 79-year-old enjoyed an illustrious 18-year career in the sport
