Trinny London drops unprecedented ONE day only birthday sale on her popular makeup products: Here’s how to get 20 per cent off the range

  • Trinny Woodall dropped a never-before-seen sale on her Trinny London brand
  • It’s in honour of the megastar’s 59th birthday on February 8
  • Customers get 20 per cent off if they purchase three stackable makeup products

The devilishly charming Trinny Woodall of What Not To Wear fame is celebrating her 59th birthday in style with an unprecedented sale on her popular stackable makeup products.

Woodall, who celebrates her birthday on February 8, rarely – if ever – has a sale on her Trinny London brand, which includes award-winning skincare, makeup and sturdy toiletry bags.

But from 7pm AEDT on Wednesday February 8 to 7pm AEDT Thursday February 9 customers can get 20 per cent off when they purchase three (or more) ‘T-pots’ like her Miracle Blur fine line filler, eye shadows and ‘lip to cheek’ multipurpose balms.

However the sale, which can be accessed on the Trinny London website, will exclude skincare, skincare-makeup hybrids, and any sets that include these products. The discount will be applied at checkout, no code required.

Trinny raised the alarm about the sale on her Instagram account causing a mad dash from her regular customers to stock up on their favourites.

In Australia the brand has two pop up shops in Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney and Westfield Doncaster in Melbourne.

The magnetic Trinny London founder never holds back when it comes to sharing her makeup and skincare tricks and despite preaching a ‘simple is best’ mantra in most things, she is open about her ‘complex’ routine and anti-ageing go-tos.

‘My skincare routine is quite complicated,’ Trinny has said previously.

‘I clean my skin twice at night – once with a balm and then with an AHA BHA PHA gel. Then I will do a little acid, retinol and finish with a peptide. In the morning I will do a cleansing balm, vitamin C and if it is summer go straight to my BFF Skin Perfector.’

In between Trinny does little face massages to oxygenate her skin and focuses on lymphatic drainage. She does so with her hands and tools, including gua shas and the AUD$483 NuFace device that reduces wrinkles and tightens sagging skin with microcurrents.

‘I am always slapping my face around, I do a lot of lymphatic drainage. For me it’s about lifting and continuity. If people use things once every two weeks then nothing is going to happen, don’t bother,’ she said.

‘I’ve done Botox since I was 35. I started it because I had very, very bad forehead movement when I started in TV and I have a deep forehead. Back then Botox was embryonic but I thought “why not?”. I’m now 58 and I never got lines on my forehead as a result.’

Diet-wise, Trinny offers a stern warning about sugar when it comes to ageing and inflammation.

‘We’ve had many conversations over the years about alcohol and cigarette smoke and sun and all these different things that make the free radicals run around like an army all over our face,’ she said.

‘Only recently have we started talking about the impact of sugar. Most people if they have rosacea or blemishes or anything like that, sugar is a major inflamer.

‘I want to be 80 running up the hill and I want to help women appreciate the whole holistic approach while reducing our sugar levels because the inflammatory markers are the basis of many serious illnesses.’

What are Trinny’s top anti-ageing secrets at 59?

* Reduce sugar as much as you can without depriving yourself of joy – switch ice cream for apple with peanut butter or a good quality stick of dark chocolate

* Have good skincare routine and stick to it

* Only invest in high quality skincare gadgets if you are going to stick to them. Buy them and see them through if you want to see results. Don’t make it a chore and use them on the loo for five minutes if you’re short on time

* Take marine collagen every day and put it on your face

* Use makeup with nourishing ingredients that heal your skin while you wear it

* Focus on lymphatic drainage methods on your face, it is excellent for reducing puffiness

* Listen to your body and your skin, it will show you physically if you have inflammation in your body

Trinny, who switches between dark chocolate and apple with peanut butter for after-dinner snacks, said listening to your body is key as inflammation will show up pretty quickly on a physical level.

‘When women go through menopause, inflammation is much more noticeable. So if I eat a chocolate full of s**t, my ankles swell because I feel the inflammation. My body is telling me not to take the second bar and I do listen. It’s not about depriving people from the joys of life but it is about balance.’

Trinny has spent years formulating products for her Trinny London range that are not only effective but nourish the skin at the same time.
