An ordinary shopping trip has landed Insta-famous bikie Ben ‘Notorious’ Geppert back in custody less than a week after he was released.

Geppert, a former Hells Angels member, spent Sunday night in a Gold Coast prison cell after he was caught breaching a banning order from Robina Town Centre.

He appeared before Southport Magistrates Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to one count of trespassing.

The court heard Geppert went to the Town Centre’s Woolworths on Thursday, breaking the five-year banning notice he was issued in May.

He was allegedly caught on CCTV going through the shopping centre before being approached by a security guard.

The security guard asked him to leave, which he did without causing any trouble.

Last week, Geppert was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for three years, following a brutal punch-up in a KFC car park.

He was released from prison after already serving 56 days behind bars.

Geppert was cleared on Monday for the trespassing offence, with the Magistrate choosing not to punish him beyond the night he had already spent in custody.

Magistrate Kerrie O’Callaghan also chose not to activate the suspended sentence, saying the trespassing offence was ‘not like offending’.

Geppert was silent throughout the 15 minute hearing, supported by his long-term partner Allaina Vader, who sat in the back of the courthouse.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported that at the end of the brief hearing, she leant in to speak to Geppert, leaving them both smiling.
