Troye Sivan says he’s determined to find love on dating app Hinge – as the singer appears on the cover of Vogue Australia alongside Lily-Rose Depp: ‘I’m not going to let fame stop me from living’
Troye Sivan revealed on Wednesday he is not letting fame get in the way of his online dating life.
The singer, 28, appeared on the cover of Vogue Australia, out Monday, alongside fashion model Lily-Rose Depp when he made the confession.
He said he was determined to find love on the dating app Hinge and ‘make out with someone on the dance floor’, and he won’t let international fame stop him.
‘I get quite strong headed about like, you know what, I deserve to be able to go on Hinge, and I will go on Hinge,’ he told the publication.
‘That’s almost a boundary of mine. I’m not going to let this stop me from living. If I want to make out with someone on a dance floor that I just met, I’m gonna do it.’

The My My My hitmaker has made headlines in recent weeks for his role in the raunchy HBO series The Idol, which stars Lily-Rose and Abel ‘The Weeknd’ Tesfaye.
Speaking to Elle Magazine in April, Troye revealed playing Xander in the series was ‘the first time’ he’d ever felt like an actor.
‘I’ve got my day job of being a musician, and then when something exciting comes along that I’m interested in which is pretty much every acting thing ever,’ he said.

‘I’m so excited to throw my hat in the ring and see what happens,’ he added.
It comes as Troye continues to tease his upcoming new single Rush, five years after the release of his latest studio album Bloom.
In a recent Instagram post, Troye apologised for making his fans wait so long, writing: ‘I didn’t mean to take 5 years to make this album – Bloom tour happened (lmk if you came), then I started working on it, then c*ckbig19 (COVID-19).
‘Then The Idol, always working on the album in all the moments between… and now here we are. Enough excuses now. Enough saying “soon”, this is for YOU.’
