Trump rally liberals are trying to change the name of Thanksgiving

Donald Trump kick off his ‘homecoming’ rally in Florida Tuesday night by blasting an alleged war on Thanksgiving, bragging about how he was working his a** off for the American people and slamming the impeachment inquiry as’ bull****.’

‘Bull****, bull****, bull****,’ the crowd yelled back.

The president was complaining about the Democrats’ investigation into his presidency when he dropped the expletive.

He started off with his usual criticism of the ‘witch hunt’ against him before mocking Democrats for their standing in the polls, blaming the impeachment inquiry into his presidency.

‘You see what is happening in the polls. Everybody says, that is really bull****,’ he said.

He also bragged about the strong stock market and U.S. economy.

‘Everybody’s getting rich. I’m working my a** off everyday,’ he said.

Trump, who earlier that day pardoned the Thanksgiving turkey, also alleged there is a war on Thanksgiving.

He argued liberals want to change the name – but offered no proof of his charge.

‘As we gather together for Thanksgiving, some people want to change the name Thanksgiving. They don’t want to use the term Thanksgiving,’ he said. ‘People have different ideas watching be called Thanksgiving, but everyone in this room loves Thanksgiving. We’re not changing it.’

He also bragged Americans have a lot to be thankful for thanks to his presidency.

‘Americans have so much to be thankful for. The economy is booming, waging atomic wages are rising, poverty has vomiting America is stronger than ever before!,’ he said.

Mike Pence warmed up the crowd at Donald Trump’s campaign rally Tuesday, giving a shout out to Conan the hero dog, who took a shining to the vice president during a visit to the White House on Monday.

‘Our troops are coming home and Conan the hero dog is doing just fine,’ Pence told the packed BB&T Center, which can hold almost 21,000.

‘Conan, Conan, Conan,’ the crowd yelled back.

Pence gave Conan, a Belgian Malinois, plenty of pats on the head and affection on Monday during the dog’s visit.

Conan was flown in from the Middle East for the Oval Office meet and greet, in which the dog was presented with a certificate and medal that will go on display in the Oval Office.

Conan became famous after his role was revealed in the killing of ISIS terror Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Baghdad.

Donald Trump is kicking off his Thanksgiving holiday with a campaign rally in Floria, his first event there since he made the Sunshine state his new home.

Billed as a ‘homecoming’ rally, the president arrived in Florida, a state that Trump recently named his permanent residence, explaining on Twitter he was ‘treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state.’

New York, however, has high state taxes while Florida has no state income tax.

The president and Melania Trump became registered Republican voters in Florida, with Mar-a-Lago as their residence, in October. The first lady traveled to Florida with the president but did not accompany him to the rally.

Florida will also be a must-win state for the president in his 2020 re-election bid. Trump won the state by a narrow 1 per cent in 2016.

Tuesday’s rally is in Broward County, the most populous in the state. While the county is heavily-Democratic it is also near more conservative areas of the state, including those in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

After his rally Trump will head to his Mar-a-Lago estate where he will celebrate Thanksgiving with his family.

Trump left Washington behind him with family in tow as he got an early start on Thanksgiving, with an evening rally planned in his adoptive home state of Florida.

Trump was accompanied by his 13-year-old son, Barron, who continues to stand tall alongside his 6-foot-3 father. He was also accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, who joined the president at public events for the pardoning of Thanksgiving turkeys Bread and Butter, after joining a ceremony for hero Army dog Conan on Monday.

For the first lady, it was a welcome change from her morning, where she was booed in Baltimore at an event where she spoke about opioid abuse in a city her husband called ‘rat-infested.’

The trio were previously photographed in August, when they returned to the White House after a vacation at Trump’s New Jersey golf club.

This time, it was off to Florida, for a political rally that the Trump campaign is billing as a homecoming now that the president has given up his domicile in New York City and has registered to vote in the the Sunshine State, which has no state income tax.

First daughter Tiffany Trump, whose mom is Marla Maples, was spotted at the White House for a ceremony where Trump pardoned the national Thanksgiving turkeys Bread and Butter.

Joining Trump on Air Force One were aides Dan Scavino, Stephanie Grisham, Stephen Miller, Emma Doyle, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and his wife, Hilary Geary Ross, and Trump loyalist GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz. National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien also came along.

Viktor and Amalija Knavs, the parents of First Lady Melania Trump, who have become U.S. citizens, were also joining the troop en route to Thanksgiving festivities.
