‘We can’t wait to meet you!’ Burns survivor Turia Pitt announces she’s expecting a second child with fiancé Michael Hoskin and shares a sweet video montage of their growing family

Inspirational burns survivor Turia Pitt has announced she’s expecting her second child with fiancé Michael Hoskin.

The former athlete revealed the happy news with a video montage shared to Instagram on Friday.

‘We can’t wait to meet you,’ the 32-year-old wrote in the caption.

The sweet video montage featured a number of precious moments, one in which saw Michael planting a kiss on Turia’s head.  

Turia also showed off her growing baby bump in a crop top and shorts, and stood in front of a mirror as she panned the camera back and forth. 

Towards the end of the clip, Turia, Michael and their firstborn, son Hakavai, one, smiled for the camera, while an ultrasound scan featured on a large screen.

Turia told her fans in the caption: ‘When Michael and I want to share big news, I insist on creating a Beyonce-inspired video montage. Baby #2, we can’t wait to meet you.’

The motivational speaker added: ‘PS I promise we’ll find you a more appropriate name soon.’ 

Turia suffered horrific burns when she got caught in a wildfire in 2011 during an ultramarathon.

She told Stellar magazine in October last year, that the arrival of her first child shifted all of the goal posts in her life.

‘I no longer have any desire to do an Ironman,’ Turia told the publication.  

‘Having a baby has changed me and when you become a mum you quickly realise your whole life fits in around your kids.

‘I don’t want to be out running for five hours straight. I know how precious life is and I’d rather be with my son,’ she continued.
