Twenty-one times Princess Charlene of Monaco has embraced the off-the-shoulder look

Off-the-shoulder dresses may be all the rage, but Princess of Monaco is leading the way with her own unique take .

The princess, a former Olympic swimmer, clearly enjoys showing off her enviably toned arms with the asymmetric style in a way that few can match.

Charlene, 45, was again effortlessly elegant in a black and white gown as she attended the Gala Dinner for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monte Carlo on Sunday night.

She accessorised the two-toned maxi dress with ornate jewellery featuring diamond earrings and an opulent bangle.

The one-shoulder dress allowed the Princess to reveal some skin but with a classy twist. Charlene shows the one-sleeve look can work in a number of different ways, from formal dinners to red-carpet events

She cuts an elegant figure wherever she goes and it was no different when she attended a Buckingham Palace reception hosted by King Charles on the eve of his Coronation.

For the opening ceremony of the 61st Monte Carlo TV Festival in June last year, Charlene put on another glamorous display choosing an all-green one-sleeve ensemble.

She went for a £2,670 Lanvin gown which had an asymmetric neckline, plissé texture and sumptuous ruffled hem – the perfect piece to make an entrance.

The Princess was spotted in a Ralph Lauren, asymmetric jumpsuit at a charity gala in 2018.

This style is a perfect alternative to a little black dress, as its wide legs are on-trend and when paired with statement earrings, it is ideal for a glamorous evening.

While attending the star-studded Red Cross Ball in 2015, Charlene wore a fashion-forward one-shoulder Valentino jumpsuit with a large bow at the neck.

This ticked all the right boxes for us: glamour, sophistication, on trend – and, most importantly, it showed off Charlene’s amazing figure.
