Twin Peaks actor charged with second degree murder

An actor who guest starred on an episode of Twin Peaks: The Return has been charged with attempted second degree murder after he allegedly tried to beat his girlfriend with a baseball bat.

Spokane police arrested Jeremy R Lindholm, 41, as he fled the 420 Lingerie boutique with a baseball bat in his hand in Spokane, Washington. 

He told authorities that he was upset because his girlfriend refused to go to the store to get him Kool-Aid before she went back to work.

Video surveillance at the boutique appears to show Lindholm is seen hitting the victim on the head and her body with the bat more than a dozen times, according to court documents.

Video is also said to show him choking her, flinging her to the ground and jumped on her, forcing his knee on her chest. The victim said that he also said he wanted to kill her.

The actor shared that he didn’t want to hurt his girlfriend but wanted to force police to shoot him in front of her, according to documents, 

The girlfriend didn’t have life threatening injuries but she did need to go to the local hospital in an ambulance. 

Lindholm was charged with attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment-domestic violence. 

He is currently being held in the Spokane County Jail on $100,000 bond. 

Z Nation producer Steve Graham confirmed that the Spokane native was a regular background actor on the series, often playing zombies.

‘We were surprised and shocked and concerned for the family,’ he said. 

‘Jeremy has been very active in the film community here. We really only know him by his work and he’s done good work for us.’ 

The show will follow the trial and if convicted, will severe ties with Lindholm.
