But on Thursday night’s episode Laura Byrne struggled to win over his family, suffering from a severe case of ‘verbal diarrhoea’ as she met them for the first time.

She also failed to come up with any hobbies she enjoyed doing – despite starting her own jewellery business several years back.
‘I… Oooh! Well, I mean, like… I guess, like… Like, if I’m going to be, like, I love the ocean and I spend all my time there, but, like, my life-life, like, I, I,’ Laura replied, struggling to answer the question.

Laura was visibly flustered when meeting Matty’s mum Ellie and his three brothers, David, Tom and Adam.
‘So maybe I had a bit of verbal diarrhoea,’ Laura said in a piece-to-camera interview.
‘Lots of words were coming out and probably not that much sense. I’m pretty sure everyone thought I was going to pass out because I hadn’t actually taken a breath yet,’ she confessed.
