Twitter slams Tomi Lahren for Beyonce and Kaepernick jab

Twitter users eviscerated wannabe-controversial host Tomi Lahren after she attempted to slam Beyonce and Colin Kaepernick on Wednesday.

The singer presented Kaepernick with Sports Illustrated’s Muhammad Ali Legacy Award on Tuesday night, and ‘jealous’ Lahren jabbed her opinion onto the social media site the following day.

‘Police-hating Beyoncé presents police and America-hating Kappy with a ‘legacy’ award. This is how far we’ve fallen. Wow,’ said the Fox News host while sharing a photo of the 36-year-old handing the athlete his award.

And as soon as the attention seeker made her post, the collective Beyhive and Kaepernick supporter rushed to quickly scrutinize the host.

Actress and singer Kat Graham said: Do you mean to come across as uninformed, ignorant and racist as you do? Or are you really that pathetically desperate for attention?’

‘@TomiLahren go listen to some Rachel Maddow instead of bullying public figures that are doing everything in their power to highlight the mistreatment of individuals who have no voice. You have a voice, and yet you choose to use it to disgrace yourself,’ she added.

Some, didn’t even realize the 25-year-old host was still working, having been fired from The Blaze in March.

‘Wait, aren’t you unemployed still? Settle down Susie and stay in your lane please,’ added TV host Josh McBride.

‘stfu you really must hate how you look lol your like the most insecure person with a platform rn sad part is you know how trash you are,’ said Jersey ClubKing.

Recording artist Teo added: It’s ok Tomi….we’ll find you a job soon. No need for the attention seeking tweets. I hear there’s an opening at Rite Aid….we’ll make sure we get you in an urban area for personal development.

‘1. Keep Beyoncé’s name OUT YOUR MOUTH. 2. This attention seeking objective you have is TIRED and you need to find another hobby. Your opinion on these matters is invalid and unsubstantiated,’ added a different user.

But a few took the time to point out how misguided Lahren’s attack was.

One user said: ‘@Beyonce doesn’t hate police and @Kaepernick7 doesn’t hate #America!!!!! They both despise injustice, hatred & racism – which so happens to permeate the fabric of America & has resulted in some #police brutality, abuse & criminal injustice. Learn the Difference!’

‘Hating police and hating police injustice are two different things!,’ added Taylor Lianne Chandler.

Lahren has repeatedly misquoted and misstated the purpose and intent behind both the Formation hit-maker and former San Francisco 49er’s quarterback forms of activism over the last few years

She most recently posted a manipulated image showing Kaepernick at the famous World War II operation in Normandy, France, to Twitter on Thanksgiving.

‘Food for thought,’ Lahren’s tweet said in reference to GQ naming him the Citizen of the Year.

Lahren has rode the Beyonce equals police hate train ever since the singer released Formation, a critique on several topics surrounding Blackness including police brutality, in 2016.

She also has issue with the type of intersectional feminism that Beyonce has displayed through her work in Lemonade and pro-black imagery.

At the award presentation, the Single Ladies hit-maker said she was ‘proud and humbled’ to present the award to Kaepernick for his courage to open what she called an important conversation about race in the country.

‘Thank you for your personal sacrifice. Colin took action with no fear of consequences or repercussions, only hope to change the world for the better.’
