Located on the upper floor of the cottage are two separate bedrooms, this one features two single beds, while the other boasts a double bed
Outside of the property, its south-facing terrace garden offers incredible lines of sight out to sea, while the front bedroom also features stunning views of the estuary.
The estuary offers a wide range of water-based activities and there are numerous beaches either side of it.
Nicki Teasdale, from estate agents Luscombe Maye, said: ‘It’s a breath-taking location, there’s nothing quite like it.
‘Salcombe is a well-known and renowned area and this is on the main walk into town so everybody walks past it, it’s a quintessential property.
‘It was formerly a fisherman’s cottage, as are all the cottages on that stretch, but it’s not listed.

Nicki Teasdale, from estate agents Luscombe Maye, described the property as ‘quintessential’ and that there is nothing else on the market like it
Although the row of fisherman’s cottages were originally constructed in the 19th century, they have not been listed
‘It’s currently used as a holiday home and the owners let it when they are not using it.
‘That spot is really popular with children for crabbing lines and in the summer at high tide the local children use that as a bit of a launchpad into the water.
‘The jetty by the property isn’t open to the public, it has moorings for little ribs and boats and the lifeboat is launched from there.
‘So this property is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by with all the boats coming and going.’
