The two suspects arrested in connection to the deaths of a New Hampshire couple who were found buried in a shallow grave on a Texas beach have both appeared in court.
Adam Curtis Williams and Amanda Noverr faced court in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Friday after being charged with felony theft.
The pair are accused of stealing the RV that belonged to the slain victims – James, 48, and 46-year-old Michelle Butler before fleeing across the border into Mexico.
Williams and Noverr were arrested by authorities in the Mexican state of Jalisco on Wednesday.

Noverr had her child with her when she was taken into custody.
Authorities believe Williams and Noverr, who are both being held on $1 million bond, may have come into contact with the Butlers prior to their deaths.
Investigators had released a surveillance photo of Williams and Noverr crossing the border into Mexico on October 21 in the RV belonging to the Butlers after the victims went missing.
James and Michelle’s bodies were discovered in the shallow grave on a beach on Padre Island near Corpus Christi on October 27.
Police have not released details about their cause of death but the pair had been dead for several days, if not weeks, when they were found.

Officials say they are investigating the deaths as homicides.
Authorities are exploring the possibility that the couple were killed inside their RV but they have not yet suggested any possible motive.
The Butlers had been making their way to Florida to sell Christmas trees for the season when they suddenly stopped communicating with their family on October 16.
The couple were seasonal workers who traveled the country picking up work where they could. Most recently, they had worked on an oil rig.
The Butlers kept family and friends updated on their whereabouts via Facebook posts.
