Two toddlers and two adults killed in Scottish Highlands crash

Two toddler girls, aged one and three, and two adults in same car are killed in Scottish Highlands horror crash near Fort William

Two young children and two adults were killed in a car crash in the Scottish Highlands last night.

The tragedy happened near Fort William yesterday evening, when the Mini Cooper they were travelling in collided with a Ford Fiesta.

A little girl aged one, and a three-year-old girl were killed, along with a man aged 25 and a woman aged 26.

They were pronounced dead at the scene on the A82 by Hillfarm, Torlundy, Scottish Highlands, around 5.30pm on Thursday.

The road was closed for nearly 12 hours.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 56-year-old woman, was taken to Bedford Hospital, Fort William with what was described as serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Superintendent Simon Bradshaw, said: ‘Enquiries are continuing into the incident and I would ask anyone with information or dashcam footage who has not yet come forward to please get in touch.’
