One toddler had no complaints when his parents gave him a banana for Christmas.

The two-and-a-half year old tears off wrapping paper and opens a box to reveal the  browning fruit on Christmas Eve.

‘This my box,’ he says excitedly.

‘Banana. Banana. I got banana,’ says the boy named Mason proudly.

 The tiny tot then stands up to show off his present to his parents.

‘What do you say?’ they ask him.

'Banana. Banana. I got banana,' says Mason proudly

‘Thank you!’ Mason promptly responds.

His parents said they wanted to see what his reaction would be to getting a banana, and that it did not disappoint.

The family lives in Henderson, Nevada.
