Tyreek Hill has revealed that Miami Dolphis head coach Mike McDaniel called him out after the team’s wild-card playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, earlier this year.

The 30-year-old wideout had five catches for 62 yards and a touchdown in Miami’s 26-7 loss in January, but apparently didn’t do enough, according to his head coach, as he faced McDaniel’s wrath after then-Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed knocked him to the ground on one play.

Recalling McDaniel’s anger back then, Hill said on Tuesday’s episode of the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’ podcast: ‘The play against Sneed. The Chiefs, everybody sees this play against the Chiefs. When the motherf***er slammed me to the floor? He called me out.

‘He was like, ”Reek, bro you’re supposed to be the f***ing best play in the f***ing league, and you got this guy putting hands all over you like that.

”We pay you all this money for what?”’

Now, nearly, three months after the Dolphins’ elimination from the NFL playoffs, Hill vowed to work on his overall game this offseason, as McDaniel’s criticism remains in his head.

‘For me, I love s*** like that. I’m gonna take that s*** to hear and I’m gonna get better from it. That’ll never happen again in my life, man. You feel me?’ Hill continued.

‘If a motherf***er cannot hold me accountable, I feel like I’m gonna get better, you  know what I’m saying? Like, obviously, the coach can bypass that, you know what I’m saying, and just be like ”Ah, he’ll get better from it.”

‘But if he’s not saying nothing, like the other guys in the locker room, they’re gonna look at it as, ”Oh, if Reek can do it, I can do it.” And that’s not getting the team better,’ Hill added.

Another top wide receiver could join the Dolphins ahead of the fall to decrease the workload on Hill, as Odell Beckham Jr. ‘visited’ the team’s facilities last month, per several reports.

Beckham Jr. has yet to sign a contract with Miami, however, despite the registered interest. The 31-year-old wide receiver is currently a free agent following his exit from the Baltimore Ravens.+

Hill is currently locked in a lawsuit with a social media influencer for allegedly breaking her leg after he allegedly charged at her during a ‘playful’ football game at his Miami mansion.
