Tyrese Haliburton’s unbelievable game-winner against the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals elicited a heartwarming reaction from his girlfriend, Jade Jones.

The Pacers guard gave Indiana a 2-0 series lead after silencing the Cleveland crowd by hitting a three-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining on Tuesday.

And afterwards, Jones took to her Instagram story to celebrate her boyfriend’s latest success.

‘GAME WINNER SAY WHAAAAAT,’ she wrote on her story over a video of Haliburton’s shot.

She also posted a picture of Haliburton’s on-court reaction to the shot, writing: ‘GAME TIME.’

The Pacers also posted a sweet video of Haliburton walking off the court afterwards, as he and Jones shared a hug before he greeted other adulating family members.

Haliburton’s shot came after the Cavs were leading by seven with just 48 seconds to play.

But with the All-Star guard at the line following a steal from Andrew Nembhard and his team trailing 119-117, he made the first free throw before missing the second and grabbing his own rebound on the second.

With 12.1 seconds remaining, he then took the ball back to the top of the key before nailing a step-back three-pointer over Ty Jerome and stunning the Cleveland crowd.

Haliburton and Jones, who have dated since their college days at Iowa State, celebrated six years together in April.

‘6 whole years of loving you,’ Jones began an Instagram caption. ‘Every single day you continue to amaze me!!

‘You make this world shine so incredibly bright and I’m so lucky to spend life by your side. You are so special to me, our love is one in a million- My best friend forever & ever!! I love you.’

Haliburton’s shot on Tuesday earned the Pacers a vital win against a depleted Cavs team, who were without starters Evan Mobley, De’Andre Hunter and Darius Garland in Game 2.

But it also may have cost him some money indirectly.

Following the shot, Haliburton broke out the infamous ‘big balls’ dance and many expect him to be fined for that gesture.

‘I’ve been waiting for that, man,’ Haliburton told reporters in Cleveland after his 19-point effort. ‘It was just right in the moment. I’ll take that fine gladly.’

A number of famous NBA stars have done the dance over the years, including LeBron James, who incurred a $15,000 fine for doing the dance in a 2021 win over the Pacers.

Nonetheless, Haliburton won’t be too bothered as the series heads back to Indiana for Games 3 and 4.
