Tyson Fury in relaxed mood as he hangs out with wife and rest of entourage in Manchester

Tyson Fury made light of his previous self-confessed troubles with drugs as he returned to the ring with a stoppage win on Saturday evening.

Fury took out Sefer Seferi in four rounds at the Manchester Arena in his first fight since dethroning Wladimir Klitschko back in November 2015.

During the 31 tumultuous months of his hiatus, Fury battled depression, alcoholism and drug abuse and pointed to the latter by using alternative lyrics to the song ‘Because I got high’ by Afroman during his ringwalk.

A video on Twitter revealed the lyrics were changed to: ‘I was going to get in the ring, until I got high. I was going to beat up Wlad again but then I got high. I sold out Manchester and I know why, because I got high, because I got high, because I got high.’

He said: ‘Me and Venezuela are out together. I have missed my daughters very, very much and she’s taking me shopping because I spent some time with my boy, he was in training camp with me, but me and Venezuela have to spend time together

‘I just want to say again, thank you to all the fans, thank you to everyone who supported me last night, it was an epic, epic night and I look forward to the next one.’

There has been much speculation over Fury’s future opponents as he looks to take on challengers with greater quality and Tony Bellew put his name forward instantly, claiming on Twitter that he will knock him out.
