UFO enthusiasts claim shapes below ISS are alien portals

Alien enthusiasts claim to have spotted three huge ‘alien portals’ below the International Space Station.

A bizarre video has been posted on YouTube, showing three mysterious circular shapes flying below the space station.

While the uploaders believe the shapes could be extraterrestrial, critics have claimed that they are simply clouds.

WHAT DID THEY SEE?

The footage was originally shot by Nasa from the International Space Station, and shows three white ringed shapes below the station.

The channel owners describe the mysterious objects as ‘smoke rings’ that ‘seem to be drifting.’

They said: ‘I’m not sure these are just anomalous clouds – there’s no other ones in the hemisphere.

‘If you look at them closely you’re just not sure.

‘Are they portals of some sort?’

The video was posted to YouTube by Third Phase of the Moon, a channel that regularly posts videos it claims show signs of aliens.

The footage was originally shot by Nasa from the International Space Station, and shows three white ringed shapes below the station.

In the video, a spokesperson for Third Phase of the Moon says: ‘We’ve got three strange anomalies drifting downwards just above the Earth’s atmosphere.

‘Is this something extraterrestrial?’

The video has gained over 11,250 views, many from people who support the view that the objects are signs of alien life.

TheGib74 commented: ‘Interesting footage, Nasa don’t want us to see HD, either that or they have downgraded to save for Mars.’

And J Sonders said: ‘They are too high and too fast for clouds. I noticed some UFO’S cause a steamy vapor when they enter our atmosphere.’

But not all the viewers were so convinced, with many suggesting the objects are simply clouds.

One user called Knock said: ‘Clouds you baboons.’

And Darren Cooper seemed to agree, adding: ‘They are called CLOUDS.’

The alleged sighting comes just days after a series of strange glowing objects were spotted above Morfa Dyffryn, a beach between Harlech and Barmouth famous for its naturist area.

The sightings came to the attention of an American alien-hunting group that has appeared on the hit US TV show the X-Files.

Experts at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) noted the beach as a place of interest for extra-terrestrial activity.

The non-profit organisation, which logs reported sightings, has posted a notice close to the area.

The notice encourages visitors to ‘report any sightings or sounds and to take photographs’ to help with investigations, the Daily Post Wales reports.

The sign reads: ‘A number of unexplainable sightings have been reported in this area, day and night.

‘Strange lights, plasma balls and other apparitions have been reported.

‘These occurrences have been noted in areas out to sea, the beaches and within the sand dunes.

‘The public are encouraged to report any sightings or sounds and to take photographs which may be used in the scientific study of these events.’

DO YOU BELIEVE IN CONSPIRACY THEORIES?

People who doubt the moon landings are more likely to be selfish and attention-seeking, according to a study earlier this year.

Over the course of three online-based studies, researchers at the University of Kent showed strong links between the belief in conspiracy theories and negative psychological traits.

Writing in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science, the team explained: ‘Previous research linked the endorsement of conspiracy theories to low self-esteem.’

In the first study, a total of 202 participants completed questionnaires on conspiracy beliefs, asking how strongly they agreed with specific statements, such as whether governments carried out acts of terrorism on their own soil.

Alongside this, they were asked to complete a narcissist scale and a self-esteem assessment.

The results showed that those people who rated highly on the narcissism scale and who had low self-esteem were more likely to be conspiracy believers.
