Ulrika Jonsson has no qualms about embarrassing her children.
The mother-of-four, 54, declared in a recent interview that she ‘doesn’t give a f**k about them’ when it comes to making them ‘cringe’.
‘I don’t give a f**k about them. This is my life. I’ve dedicated my life to them. Yes, there are probably times when they’re unhappy, but they don’t voice it anymore,’ she said ahead of her forthcoming appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

She added: ‘I have more years behind me than I have in front of me and I have shown more than my dedication to them and that will continue. Sometimes, they go “oh cringe”, but that’s the role of the parent to embarrass the children.
‘I’m trying to find a way to love my body. It’s a bit wrinkly but that’s how it is. In terrible lighting it can look alright. And why shouldn’t I? We’ve all been programmed to different things.
‘I was always told very bad, negative things about my body as I grew up and now I’m like, I’m 54 and I’m going to put my body out there and it is what it is.’
Ulrika is mother to Cameron, 26, Bo, 21, Martha, 15 and Malcolm, 12.

Ulrika revealed earlier this year that she openly discussed her ‘sexual awakening’ with her children.
‘I am a sexual creature. It’s something that I say regularly to my children — much to their horror,’ the TV personality confessed to The Sun. ‘I enjoy sex, I want to have sex and I am open to experience that. And it’s difficult for women my age to say that without being seen in a certain way.’
In 2019 Ulrika announced her split from husband Brian Monet after eleven years of marriage.

Ulrika and Brian wed in 2008 and share Malcolm. They began their relationship in 2006.
In 2014, Brian also adopted her daughter Bo from the presenter’s relationship with German hotel boss Markus Kempen.
The father of Ulrika’s son Cameron is John Turnbull, who she was married to between 1990-1995.
She added: ‘I have more years behind me than I have in front of me and I have shown more than my dedication to them and that will continue. Sometimes, they go “oh cringe”, but that’s the role of the parent to embarrass the children’
Coming soon: She will soon be seen on Celebrity SAS on Channel 4
Martha’s father is Lance Gerrard-Wright, Ulrika’s husband from 2003-2005.
Ulrika marked her 54th birthday earlier this month with a playful series of selfies, declaring: ‘This is 54.’
Posting a lengthy caption alongside the intimate snaps, Ulrika branded herself ‘a complicated soul’ and ‘a lioness of boundless proportions’.
Ulrika wrote in full: ‘This is 54. Happy Birthday, to me. What I know so far: I’m a lioness of boundless proportions. I am fierce; I am loyal. Passion courses through my veins; fire scorches my heart and imagination canters like a wild horse through my buoyant, tangled mind.

‘I love with reckless abandon and ardour at times when caution and circumspection might be the order of the day. Lying down with lions has never perturbed me. But the futility of attempting to change the shape of my heart has never been lost on me. I am who I am.’
She added: ‘I may be too much. But I am never not enough. I’m instinctive and intuitive. An empath; a lover, a carer and nurturer. I am learning to put myself first but it turns out to be a vigorous lesson to learn. I am a woman of substance. I am a complicated soul.’
Ulrika concluded: ‘I can be apprehensive and impatient. And I don’t like goat’s cheese.’
