Ulrika, who regularly features her dogs online, told in the past how she suffered a bruised and broken rib last year and also said she suffers from arthritis.

She has previously said that they are good natured dogs and Leo her oldest dog suffers from leukaemia.

Earlier this year she said of Hank, who will be two in June: ‘You have no idea how much joy you’ve brought since you came into my life so serendipitously.

‘Christ, it’s been hard work. But you are singularly the most affectionate; the neediest and the most loving Bully I’ve had. You follow me wherever I go – you still won’t let mummy wee alone.

‘You’re obsessed with balls. You’re a mentalist. You love the long grass and wilderness. You love other dogs and other hoomans.

‘You have no spatial awareness and still identify as a little puppy and insist on standing on people’s laps. You’re smart and curious.

‘Have a bit of separation anxiety when mummy leaves the house for 10 mins. You run as if you’re a Greyhound. Love nothing better than eating grass. And you no longer have your balls. I couldn’t love you more if I tried.’

Earlier this month Ulrika opened up on her preference for dating younger men and has insisted her sex drive has never gotten in the way.

Earlier this month, Ulrika opened up on her preference for dating younger men and has insisted her sex drive has never gotten in the way

The TV personality previously admitted that her recent dates have been much younger than her, and says that she likes their ‘energy’.

After her divorce from her third husband Brian Monet in 2019, Ulrika began her first foray into online dating where she said she had forgotten to set an age limit.

However, despite insisting it wasn’t ‘deliberate’, she has enjoyed dating toyboys and added that their age gap makes no difference in the bedroom.

Speaking to Closer, she said: ‘I thought, “Oh there’s a lot of young men on here!” but actually I love the energy of young people.

‘My best friend asks me all the time why I date younger men, but it wasn’t deliberate. There are pluses and minuses to both.

‘It’s not that men my age come with baggage – I’ve got a whole cabin full of baggage – but they seem to maybe have struggled getting over something from the past.

‘With younger guys, they are more straightforward and their lives are about them. But energy and connection in the bedroom can be across generations and the ages.’

Ulrika added: ‘My sex drive I have to say, has not been an issue for me – ever!’
