Remarkable video shows a wild brawl between a group of young women on a night out on the Gold Coast, with several girls thrown to the floor and kicked in the head.

The ferocious fight broke out in front of a Burleigh Heads pub, with women flying in from all angles, pulling one another’s hair and throwing punches.

It is understood to have broken out before coronavirus restrictions were brought into place, but only appeared online in recent days. 

In one disturbing moment, a girl is heard shouting ‘Bianca is getting smashed, she just got booted in the head like seven times’.

Some of the young women even end up fighting the security guards, who are desperately trying to break up the brawl.

Women are seen being thrown to the floor and attacked by others, as other girls then fly into the scene and throw their own punches. 

Gold Coast Chief Superintendent Mark Wheeler said: ‘That kind of gratuitous violence can lead to the death of someone and it is a concern. 

‘Kicking someone who is unable to defend themselves while on the ground can really lead to poor outcomes for everyone involved. 

‘When pubs and clubs reopen we will certainly ensure there is a high visibility police presence in and around those areas.’

No complaints have so far been lodged with police.
