The cult Lanolips Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm is now on sale

An ultra hydrating lip balm from a cult brand that sells a product every 30 seconds and has been described as ‘the holy grail’ for making cracked lips look and feel replenished, is now on sale.

The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm by Australian brand Lanolips is the perfect addition to any skincare routine providing extreme hydration on-the-go and it’s now available for just $16.10.

The cult beauty product, usually $18.95, is loved by millions and has also been praised by A-list celebrities, including model Gigi Hadid, American TV personality Bethany Frankel and English model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Gigi named the inexpensive product one of her top ‘post-pregnancy skin secrets’ after giving birth to her daughter.

The 29-year-old model and mum has previously shared she used the Multipurpose Superbalm on her lips, cheekbones, on the tip of her nose, and even at the edge of her eyebrows.

Now beauty fans can bag the versatile product for less as it is currently on sale as part of a site-wide promotion offering 15 per cent off all Lanolips products to celebrate the brand’s 15th anniversary.

The 100 per cent natural balm contains ultra-pure grade Australian lanolin, which mimics human oils and is often called ‘nature’s wonder moisturiser’.

The Lanolips’ Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm has been dubbed ‘the world’s best lip balm,’ won a number of awards and boasts an impressive 101 uses, so it’s perhaps no wonder it is flying off shelves.

Whilst the balm can address dry lips, offering incredible hydration, it can also be used on skin patches, cuticles, elbows and much more.

Sydney founder Kristen Carriol launched the Lanolips brand in 2009 with the aim of providing customers with natural skincare solutions.

Ms Carriol grew up on a sheep farm with her DNA scientist father and her upbringing led her to the idea of using lanolin in beauty because of its incredibly hydrating properties.

‘There was nothing quite like lanolin, and though I had never imagined myself launching my own product, one day I just knew that I had too,’ Kristen said.

The Multipurpose Superbalm builds on from the original 101 ointment formula.

Kristen explained: ‘Essentially, it’s Lanolips 101 Ointment but supercharged! The extra rich, buttery, cloud-like balm rehydrates.’

Beauty buffs can not only use the product on dry lips but also on skin patches, cuticles, elbows, and more

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a fan of the brand and and raved about Lanolips in a Youtube video.

‘Lanolips is this really cool brand from Australia and it contains an ingredient that is found in sheep’s wool. It’s one of the most hydrating, natural nutrients that there is.’

‘They derive the lanolin from sheep’s wool and make it into an incredible line of lip and body care products. Great for dry lips, dry skin, dry nasal passages… perhaps when you’re flying,’ Rosie said.

Customers around the world have gushed about the Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm and it has racked up thousands of five star reviews from happy customers with many branding the product ‘life-changing’.

‘This was the only thing that saved my lips (after spending probably hundreds in total on all sorts of other balms!). I will never use anything else on my lips ever again,’ one fan wrote in their review on the Lanolips website.

Another shared: ‘The best lip cream, this is the best lip moisturiser ever! This is the only cream that stopped the red licking rim around my kids lips. So useful for any red dry rashes on the body, but the ultimate lip moisturiser!’

A third branded the balm ‘Unreal’. They added: ‘Struggled to find something to fix my cracked lips and finally this is the one! Highly recommend.’

For best results, simply warm the ointment between your fingers and dab in gently to your skin.
