The Leeds United midfielder also posed for a selfie with Scheffler’s caddie, Ted Scott, who said he wanted a picture for his soccer-loving son.

Adams, a Wappingers Falls, New York native, returned to his roots earlier this week as he took in a New York Red Bulls game vs. Charlotte FC.

Adams came through the club’s ranks and starred there for two seasons before moving to RB Leipzig in 2018.

And while he impressed at Leeds this season, it may be one and done for the defensive midfielder in Yorkshire after the club was relegated.

As Mail Sport previously reported, there are a bevvy of clubs looking to keep Adams in the top flight, with Brighton currently leading the race for the $32million-rated player.

Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest are also said to be interested.

Adams quickly established himself as a starter for Leeds and played 24 games for the club in the league but missed the final 12 contests due to an injured hamstring.
