The USA raced into a 4-0 lead over Saint Kitts and Nevis in their Gold Cup clash on Wednesday night.

Dorde Mihailovic opened the scoring inside the opening 12 minutes and Bryan Reynolds netted just two minutes later.

B.J. Callaghan’s team were four goals to the good within the first 25 minutes as Jesus Ferreira notched two goals in the 16th and then nine minutes later.

The quickfire goalfest came after the USMNT were held to a 1-1 tie by Jamaica in their opening group game over the weekend.

Brandon Vazquez equalized late on after the USA fell behind as they got their CONCACAF Gold Cup defense underway.

The USA inflicted no further damage on their opponents in the first half but they were 5-0 up early on in the second half.

Ferreira scored his hat-trick five minutes after the break, slotting the ball home with a calm right-footed finish.
