USMNT rising star Kevin Paredes has joined Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports ahead of this summer’s Copa America.

The 20-year-old Wolfsburg wideman made his debut for the USA senior team last year and was recently named US Soccer’s Young Male Player of the Year for 2023.

On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Paredes had signed a deal with Roc Nation to join the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Vinicius Jr.

It comes not long after fellow USMNT international Matt Miazga made a similar move, while Crystal Palace and United States defender Chris Richards is also part of Roc Nation.

Virginia native Paredes came through at DC United in Major League Soccer before sealing a move to Germany in 2022. Roc Nation Sports International will now work alongside Paredes’ agents at Shot Sports.

‘I am so grateful to have this level of support at this stage of my career, and of course it is extremely exciting to be joining the Roc Nation family,’ Paredes said.

‘There is still a long way to go in my career, and it’s fantastic to have partners who have my best interests at heart, enabling me to concentrate my focus on performing for both club and country.’

Paredes made the first of his three USMNT appearances in a friendly against Oman in September 2023.

He then followed that up with appearances against Germany and in the CONCACAF Nations League quarter finals against Trinidad. The 20-year-old has made 24 appearances for Wolfsburg this season, scoring two goals in the Bundesliga.
