Ali Krieger is officially off the market.
The USWNT star revealed she’s in a relationship with a ‘wonderful’ person almost one year after her high-profile divorce from former teammate Ashlyn Harris.
During an appearance on the She Pivots podcast on Wednesday, Krieger confirmed she’s dating someone new.
‘I’m dating a wonderful person right now, who I really, really like. I’m, you know, so grateful that we met,’ the 39-year-old said.
She went on to explain that she needed to ‘grieve’ the breakdown of her marriage with Harris before jumping into another relationship.

‘It gave me time from when [Ashlyn] left to really focus on obviously soccer and finishing my career, but then healing my wounds and kind of licking my wounds so to speak,’ she said.
‘I think, now, eight, nine months down the road has now given me time to grieve, and to sort through all those feelings.’
The athlete, who wed Harris in 2019, custody of Sloane, 3, and Ocean, 2, with her ex.
She explained that she was ‘willing to fight’ to make their relationship work, however Harris quickly moved on with One Tree Hill actress, Sophia Bush.
‘I really did love what we had. And I really loved her and our kids,’ Krieger added.
It came one week after her ex-wife called their divorce ‘one of the hardest seasons’ of her life.
She also addressed the cyber-bullying she and her children have faced in the wake of her marriage breakdown, and subsequent romance with Bush.

She filed for divorce from Krieger in 2023 after four years of marriage
‘I’m navigating a divorce that’s been really hard,’ the 38-year-old said at a Women’s Health event last week.
‘I can’t control everyone else’s reaction. I can’t control everyone else’s opinions of me. I have to own myself and my body and be present and be human,’ she went on.
‘My storm doesn’t have to be theirs. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through — dealing with a divorce with two very young children and not letting them see or feel my storm and rain,’ she explained.
Their split became public in September 2023 when Harris filed for divorce and swiftly moved on with the John Tucker Must Die actress.
During the panel earlier this week, she credited the One Tree Hill actress for helping manage her mental health struggles.
‘I say this often to Sophia — if I’m walking into a fire, I have to be equipped for that fire. I have to get my fire suit, I’ve got to get my tools, I gotta get my oxygen mask, I gotta get my water hose,’ she said.
‘I’m f—ing breaking down that door and I’m finding a way [out]. It might not be an easy window — it might be a back door, it might be climbing through a roof. But I’m equipped to handle the process.’
