Vanderpump Rules: Ariana Madix set to earn over $1MILLION from Scandoval

Ariana Madix is turning her heartache into cold hard cash.

After her longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval cheated on her with her close friend and Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss, the former barmaid has wasted no time using the affair to build her personal brand and increase her bank balance.

In addition to endorsement deals and six-figure merchandise sales, the 37-year-old has TV offers, a movie role, public appearances, and an invitation to the White House.

In one outrageous move, she was even paid to stage paparazzi photos to promote a finance company.

Daily Mail reached out to branding experts and PR gurus in the influencer and reality TV space, who estimated that the savvy starlet could potentially walk away with well over $1million by the end of the year thanks to her split from Tom.

‘Ariana is hot in the news and everyone wants to see her do good,’ said Gina Rodriquez, whose PR and production company Gitoni works with reality stars including Mama June, Scott Disick, and Nene Leakes.

‘Typically, a cheating scandal can generate quite a bit of income, especially if you’re not the cheater,’ she continued, adding that Ariana is probably doing ‘very well’ thanks to the increased media exposure and public support the affair has generated.

Ariana has already gained an extra 500,000 followers on Instagram in the last two months, and brands are now beating down the her door with offers for the star to sell everything from vibrators to fried chicken to her insatiable fans.

Her first post-Scandoval deal was an Instagram giveaway with sex toy company Bellesa Boutique, which could have netted her a cool $25,000.

From there, the bankable beauty landed more social media sponsorship deals with Uber Eats and Joyburst, which may have earned her at least $20,000 each.

A deal with Bloomingdales, which saw Ariana treated to a sponsored shopping spree in the department store, is estimated at around $25,000 on top of another $10,000 in free designer clothes.

According to Diana Abousleiman, who is the director of the brand development and marketing firm DABC Limited, Ariana’s fees for sponsored posts would have skyrocketed following Tom’s affair.

‘Ariana’s Instagram fee before the scandal was probably between $10,000-$20,000 a post,’ Diana told Daily Mail.

‘Now that she is in the spotlight and really has the public’s support, her engagement and influence have gone up, as will her fees and other potentially more lucrative opportunities.’

Ariana is estimated to have earned some serious cash for her commercials with BIC razors and an Uber One ad she filmed alongside Vanderpump Rules co-stars Lala Kent and Scheana Shay.

Since each commercial was professionally filmed and referenced her cheating scandal, Diana believes that they may have earned Madix around $50,000 a piece.

But one of her biggest pay cheques most likely came from her deal with SoFi, which was so elaborate that the blonde staged photos of herself ‘moving out’ of her shared home with Tom while donning a very unsubtle SoFi sweatshirt.

After pretending to leave the Valley Village home – which she and Tom paid $2.075million for back in 2019 – Ariana revealed it was just a sponcon deal for the finance company.

‘I’m moving UP, not out,’ she declared on Instagram. ‘Well not yet at least. It’s time to get my financial house in order.’

She then dropped a full commercial for SoFi on Instagram with a man named ‘Dr. Money’, who declared he was ‘Team Ariana’ as they both plugged the personal financing company.

SoFi later admitted to People magazine that Ariana’s move was a ‘stunt’, while the blonde’s rep confirmed that she was still living with Sandoval.

For the deal, industry experts predict that the reality star may have walked away with as much as $100,000.

The former bartender, who was once an aspiring comedian, has also landed her first major acting role.

She will play a police officer alongside Meagan Good in the Lifetime movie Buying Back My Daughter – and the gig could earn the budding thespian around $65,000.

On top of that, Ariana is rumoured to be a contestant on the next season of Dancing with the Stars, which if true will see the star pocket at least $125,000.

If she stays on longer and progresses in the competition, she could walk away with as much as $360,000, says Abousleiman.

Outside of film and television gigs, Ariana also has two merchandise lines, including one for the sandwich shop she shares with co-star and business partner Katie Maloney.

During the Vanderpump Rules reunion, which was taped on March 23, Maloney told host Andy Cohen that the line had already raked in $200,000.

In the two months since the reunion was taped, that figure could have easily doubled or even tripled.

While Abousleiman says Ariana will have to split the profits with both Maloney and whatever merchandising company is running the business, the soon-to-be sandwich mogul may still walk away with around six figures.

She also has her own separate merch brand called Team Ariana, which is expected to be pulling in similar sales figures.

Ariana has even started making paid public appearances, with the reality star creating a media circus this week when she signed autographs and ‘worked’ a shift at a Raising Caine’s chicken shop in El Segundo.

It’s unclear how much she pocketed to shill chicken fingers, but talent manager David Weintraub previously told Cosmopolitan that reality stars from franchises like the Real Housewives and Love & Hip-Hop can earn around $50,000 for appearances.

Bravo also hired Madix to present at the NBCU upfronts to help launch the network’s revamped Real Housewives of New York City and the next season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

She still has her yearly Vanderpump Rules salary too, which is around $500,000 per season according to various reports.

On top of all that, Ariana already has a DIY cocktail line and business is expected to be booming at her and Maloney’s West Hollywood sandwich shop, Something About Her.

While the bistro isn’t due to open for another couple of months, desperate Bravo fans have already started frequenting the premises to film TikTok videos and hopefully catch a glimpse of Madix whipping up a hoagie.

All up, the newly-single star could walk away from the Scandoval with well over $1million by the end of the year.

This comes after Ariana made a slew of shocking revelations about her ex-boyfriend Sandoval’s affair with Raquel while appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday.

The mixologist sat down with host Alex Cooper and dished about her nine-year-long relationship with the bar owner which ended after his affair with co-star Leviss came to light in March.

Speaking of the torrid affair she said: ‘They had sex in my guest room while I was sleeping in my own bed, that he and I went to bed together, and then he left the bed and went to the guest room and f****d her.’

Cooper then touched on the fact that the affair took place following the death of Ariana’s grandmother.

‘When you were grieving your grandmother, isn’t that when Tom and Raquel apparently were like at your house, or something, having sex, potentially?’

‘Potentially. He has maintained that that’s not the case, but I don’t trust what he says,’ she replied.

The blonde also shared that the duo got into couple’s therapy while he was in the middle of his affair, which she did not know, and that she isn’t really sure how many other women Tom cheated with.

Despite her partner’s affair, Madix is keeping in high spirits, and had a very confident answer when Alex said that people might be thinking ‘”You lose him how you got him.”

‘I didn’t lose him, he lost me,’ Ariana replied with a smile on her face.
