Vanessa Bryant announces passing of family’s beloved black Labrador Retriever Crucio

The Bryants are mourning the loss of one of their four-legged family members.

On Friday, Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram on Friday to announce the passing of their beloved black Labrador Retriever Crucio.

‘We love you, Crucio. Thank you for everything sweet boy,’ Bryant, 39, shared in the caption of an Instagram post that included five photos of their pet pooch.

‘Thank you for watching over us. We’re going to miss you. #GoodBoy #RestEasy’

Among the images posted, Crucio could be seen staring directly into the camera with a red bandana around his neck.

There’s also a few other photos of him being patient as his picture is being taken.

One of the photos appears to show Vanessa and one of her daughter’s giving their beloved pooch a hug.

Crucio had just celebrated his 11th birthday in January that was documented in a video the family shot of them singing Happy Birthday to him.

He could be seen licking a couple of tasty birthday treats as they sang the traditional song. 

Around the same time, Vanessa shared an absolutely adorable video of Crucio trying to make her feel better by giving her a kiss.

Over the years, the late great Los Angeles Laker star posted videos and photos of Crucio on his Instagram page, including images of him swimming laps in the family pool in 2013.

This past January 26 marked the somber second anniversary of the death of Kobe Bryant and their daughter Gianna, who were age 41 and 13 respectively when they passed away in a helicopter crash that killed seven others in Calabasas.
