Vanessa Hudgens held Ashley Tisdale’s newborn daughter Jupiter in a duo of snaps that were shared to the latter’s Instagram Story on Friday afternoon.
The 32-year-old actress appeared to be relishing in her new role as ‘Aunt Nessa’ as she spent time with her former High School Musical costar’s baby.
Tisdale, 35, welcomed her daughter earlier this year and shares her with husband, Christopher French, whom she married in 2014.

Hudgens kept it casual during her visit, as she wore a light yellow tube top while holding Jupiter.
The Spring Breakers actress also sported a brown-and-white pair of pants and a set of stark white socks.
She accessorized with several articles of jewelry and kept her beautiful brunette hair tied up in a tight bun as she spent time with Tisdale’s daughter.
The new mother also included a text graphic about her child’s connection with her friend that read: ‘Literally Jupiter opened her arms like hold me the minute she met Ness. It warmed my heart.’

Tisdale shares her daughter, aged two months, with Cristopher French, whom she initially met over eight years ago.
The happy parents only dated for eight months before they announced their engagement, and the two went on to solidify their union in 2014 during a dreamlike ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
Hudgens notably served as a bridesmaid during her former castmate’s nuptials.

The Young & Hungry executive producer regularly updated her fans about her experience through her social media outlets before she gave birth this past March.
The actress recently spoke at length with Yahoo, and during the sit-down, she remarked that her daughter’s name was inspired by a significant part of her childhood.
Tisdale recalled: ‘I thought about the song my mom used to sing to me when I was younger. She used to pull up my stockings and the song goes “reach for the stars/there goes Jupiter/here comes Mars.”‘
‘Jupiter is such a powerful planet and I was just like, “It’s so beautiful, I love the name,” and my husband loved the name,’ she added.

The performer went on to elaborate on the virtue that she has come to learn more of during the last few months.
‘Patience has come up a lot in my postpartum period. It’s learning patience with my child, and it’s also learning patience with myself and my body,’ she expressed.
Tisdale concluded by noting that, although her recent experience as a mother has not been the most straightforward period for her, she has come to realized the values of relaxation and planning.
She noted: ‘I’m obviously on the other side now and we have a schedule and it just feels so much better… But I just think that whatever you can do to ease up any kind of stress and pressure [helps].’

Although she has not tied the knot like her former castmate, Hudgens is currently dating professional baseball player Cole Tucker.
The actress and the athlete, 24, were first seen on a date last November when they were spotted sharing a bit of PDA in Los Angeles.
The two went Instagram official with a post made to the actress’ Instagram account on Valentine’s Day, where she was seen spending time with her beau.
The couple has been going strong ever since then, with the performer stating during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that her boyfriend was ‘kind of perfect for me.’
