Vanessa Trump breaks her silence on Tiger Woods romance with Masters social media post

Vanessa Trump has referenced her fledgling romance with Tiger Woods for the first time, reposting her new boyfriend’s post on Instagram ahead of the Masters.

Tiger is not in attendance at Augusta National as he continues to recover from his torn Achilles, but he announced earlier in the week that he was partnering with the course for a series of charitable opportunities.

As Woods prepares to create a new nine-hole golf course and ‘expands educational and golf opportunities in the community’, Vanessa took the chance to hint at her pride in her new man.

She reposted Tiger’s Instagram message to her own account, and in doing so referenced their relationship for the first time since it was first revealed by DailyMail.com back in March.

Days after the reveal, the 15-time Major winner posted affectionate pictures with his new girlfriend on Instagram – it has been his only public mention of their relationship so far.

Now, though, they both have posted about the other on social media – despite the public still awaiting their chance to see the loved-up couple together for the first time.

Trump reposted Woods’ announcement about Augusta National ahead of the Masters

Woods and Trump live just 20 minutes apart in the wealthy southern Florida enclave of Palm Beach, and were spotted together at a golf tournament in February, before their relationship was confirmed.

The golf icon was conspicuous with his absence at Augusta National, after he opted against attending the legendary Champions Dinner ahead of the tournament. 

He last won the Masters in 2019, capping off an incredible comeback after persistent back problems and a roller coaster of scandals in his personal life – including revelations he cheated on wife Elin Nordegren with multiple women.

Historically, he has been a fixture at the tournament, only missing it one other time in 2021 following a horrific single-car accident in California. Woods sustained injuries, including a crushed leg, which led to months of surgeries and grueling rehab that included inserting a metal rod in his legs and screws and pins in his ankle.

Woods is usually a regular at the Masters (pictured in 2024) but has skipped it this year 

The accident had been so bad that Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Woods was ‘lucky to be alive’.

This year, though, he wasn’t completely uninvolved: Woods made a video appearance to announce he’s building a par-3 course in Augusta. 

Fans raised concerns about his health, with one social media user posting on X that he ‘didn’t look well’ in the video.

So far, Woods has not made any reference to fans’ comments and is staying quiet as he rests after his surgery at his home in Florida.
