Australia’s most notorious vegan has slammed Mark McGowan for spruiking one of the state’s biggest events by accusing him of ‘celebrating abuse and murder’.
The Western Australian Premier took to social media this week to promote the upcoming Perth Royal Show, one of the city’s biggest annual events.
The post sparked an angry response from former West Australian Tash Peterson, who recently fled her home state to Melbourne on a one-way ticket after she was slapped with a nine-month ban from licenced premises in WA.
The outspoken activist and OnlyFans star regarded by authorities as ‘Australia’s biggest pest’ over her controversial protests slammed the popular agricultural show attended by thousands each year.
Her criticism came in response to Mr McGowan’s assurances that additional biosecurity measures would be enforced for visitors to protect animals from the risk of foot-and-mouth disease.

‘Why would you want to celebrate animal abuse and murder,’ Ms Peterson commented on the premier’s post.
‘You’re putting in ‘safety measures’ to so-called protect the animals who are literally bred into existence to get stabbed in the throat so that humans can eat their flesh.
‘The irony of this is astounding.
‘There is nothing brilliant about animal agriculture. Animal ag enslaves, tortures, abuses and murders non-human animals for profit.’
She then shared her comments and Mr McGowan’s post to her Instagram stories captioned ‘F*** the Royal Show’.
But her comments sparked more outrage than support as critics called on Mr McGowan to ban Ms Peterson from returning home.
‘Can you please ban Tash Peterson from WA permanently!’ one pleaded.
Another added: ‘I’m so sick of her theatrics just for attention. I’m just so done with her BS now.’

Ms Peterson also provided her 22.2K followers an update on her last protest in Perth by claiming she was on the ‘wrong side of the law’ but the ‘right side of history’.
‘I have received a prosecution notice and summons to court for three criminal offences for one protest that I did in June,’ she posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
‘Two charges of trespass in Outback Jack’s and Old Shanghai in Northbridge and one charge of disorderly conduct as a result of raising awareness about the animal holocaust in the meat, dairy and egg industries.
‘I currently have a criminal record of three convictions as a result of my activism and will be appealing two convictions of disorderly conduct in the Supreme Court this September.’
The protests resulted in a nine-month ban from every pub and restaurant across the state.
Ms Peterson, 28, protested her ‘freedom of speech’ had been stripped away and promptly packed up and moved to the other side of country, vowing to never return to WA.

Ms Peterson has continued her controversial antics in Melbourne by taking to the streets with other vegan activists in a series of topless stunts.
She also had a fiery confrontation with a horse-and-cart driver and clashed with customers in fast food restaurants while raising awareness about veganism.
Ms Peterson is no stranger to controversy since the former private schoolgirl’s decision to become a vegan at the age of 23 after a documentary changed her life five years ago.
Police and some policymakers in WA have described her as ‘Australia’s biggest pest’ as a result of her protests.
Ms Peterson has copped several fines for her semi-nude demonstrations which she has executed in designer stores, restaurants and supermarkets.
Last August, she marched topless through a Louis Vuitton store in Perth while smeared with her own menstrual blood. which later saw her fined $3,500 by a Perth magistrate.
The activist has also dressed up as a cow and demonstrated in the meat section of supermarkets, invaded the pitch at an AFLW match, and donned a blood-soaked apron while screaming at patrons in a KFC and Coles.
She also faced trial for a December 2020 protest at the Boatshed Markets in Cottesloe where she also appeared shirtless, with her chest painted in a cow pattern, and yelled at shoppers that cows were being raped for meat and dairy.

The outspoken activist makes no apologies for the extraordinary lengths she takes to get her message across, despite constant death threats, abuse and countless court appearances.
‘I use my body to raise awareness for those who have no bodily autonomy, whether it be topless or close to being nude and I think it works brilliantly to raise awareness for animals,’ Ms Peterson told The Project recently.
Ms Peterson opened up about the death threats and shocking abuse she receives online on a daily basis from not only men but also women.
She’s also had animal bodies and excrement thrown in her driveway after her address and phone number were posted online.
‘I’ve been called every name under the sun from a w**** to s**t and s***k,’ she said.
‘I was told to kill myself. I’ve actually had direct threats from people who said they were going to come to my house and rape and murder me.’
