Vegemite has become quite the Australian delicacy.
And now the iconic brand has teamed up with Boost Juice to launch the ‘Vegemite Boost’ – a new fruity smoothie with a classic twist.
The drink includes chocolate, vanilla, banana, dates and a hint of the yeast-based breakfast spread that will be sure to delight Vegemite aficionados.
The two beloved companies have teamed up to deliver a drink ‘all Aussies may not have known they wanted, but undoubtedly deserve’.

So how does Vegemite Boost taste?
FEMAIL put Vegemite Boost to the test. Staff at Daily Mail Australia had the opportunity to try out the new smoothie. Here’s the verdict:
‘Tasted like chocolate as opposed to Vegemite – there’s actually little Vegemite flavour – not like a Cheesymite scroll at Baker’s Delight for example’ – Editor Barclay Crawford.
‘My first thoughts were it tasted like chocolate – so pretty delicious. But I noticed a strange after taste which may have been the Vegemite. I struggled to finish it’ – FEMAIL reporter Emilia Mazza.
‘There was only a slight hint of Vegemite, mainly could taste chocolate and banana – was more enjoyable than expected, however could not finish’ – Video editor Ian Perry.

‘Vegemite really is a quintessential Australian favourite that many of our customers grew up with,’ Boost Juice managing director Claire Lauber said.
‘When we first thought of the idea for a Vegemite flavoured smoothie, we knew it was pretty out there. However, Vegemite, when combined with the chocolate, banana and dates, really is delicious.
‘The flavour profile is actually very similar to salted caramel – with an awesome Aussie twist, of course.’

Boost Juice chief marketing officer Joanne Bradley said customers will enjoy the unique take on the iconic Australian flavour.
‘We’re always looking to think outside the square when it comes to product development as we know our customers are at the forefront of the latest, and most innovative food trends,’ she said.
Vegemite marketing manager Matt Gray said he was excited to see the creation come to life.
‘At Vegemite, we love hanging out with other great iconic Aussie brands. We are mitey excited to partner with Boost Juice and launch a smoothie that truly tastes like Australia,’ he said.
The Vegemite Boost is available for a limited time only as part of Boost Juice’s new Aussie Milk Bar range of smoothies made with real fruit and an added twist.

The smoothies are on sale in Boost Juice stores nationally from June 4 to July 1.
