Some of Hollywood’s most famous couples took to the red carpet during the 81st Venice International Film Festival this year.
And as Brad Pitt, 60, went festival official with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, 34, it appears that age-gap relationships dominated the annual event more than ever.
Hollywood age gaps always spark controversy but seems to be key to many long-lasting marriages, with many putting on sweet public displays of affection to prove age is just a number.
This year, couples old and new have taken to the Venice red carpet – with some being several decades apart in age.
While Brad showed off his own 26-year age gap with Ines, his long-term pal and Wolfs co-star George Clooney was also turning heads with his international human rights lawyer wife Amal, who are themselves 17 years apart.

Brad and Ines have been romantically linked since 2022.
Brad is not the first actor she has dated as she separated from Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley months before her relationship began with the Fight Club star.
Ines and Paul, now 42, were married in a quiet ceremony in 2019 and kept a relatively low-profile throughout their short marriage.
A rep for the couple confirmed in September 2022 they separated and had been living apart for several months. Their divorce was finalised earlier this year.
‘The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago. They request privacy at this time,’ the rep said.
Ines is from New Jersey and graduated from the University of Geneva in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
According to her LinkedIn, since 2020 she has been the head of wholesale at Anita Ko Jewelry, which has celebrity customers including Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Bieber.
The brunette beauty has also had other jewelry and fashion roles at both Christie’s and de Grisogono.
Ines is also a polyglot as she speaks English, Spanish, French, and German.
As if she didn’t already have enough interests she is also known for having an interest in wellness as she is a certified health coach in Integrative Nutrition.
Ines was seen publicly with Brad for the first time at a Bono concert in Los Angeles in November 2022 and DailyMail.com had exclusive photos at the time.

In turn, Pitt claims that Jolie’s former investment company Nouvel owed his company Mondo Bongo the right of first refusal.
