Vera Wang, 75, shows off her ageless beauty in a dazzling cut-out gown as she attends the 18th annual DKMS Gala in New York

Vera Wang showed off her ageless beauty at the 18th annual DKMS Gala in New York City on Thursday.

The fashion designer, 75, was honoured at the ceremony for her longtime support with the organisation.

DKMS is an international nonprofit bone marrow donor centre with a mission statement of fighting cancer and other blood disorders. 

Vera looked incredible as she struck a pose on the red carpet before heading on stage.

She flashed her torso in the glitzy number and styled her look with a subtle swipe of makeup.

In a statement, Vera said: ‘I am no stranger to the remarkable work of DKMS. Their effort to eradicate blood cancer is unrelenting and inspiring. 

‘It is also a wonderful story of humanity and empathy, as selfless donors step up to help others in need. I‘m deeply touched to be honoured by DKMS.’

Vera gained worldwide recognition for her wedding dresses that have been worn by numerous celebrities, including: Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Chelsea Clinton, Ivanka Trump, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Victoria Beckham and Hilary Duff.

Vera was married to Arthur Paul Becker, 74, for 23 years before announcing their separation in July 2012. 

They have two daughters Cecilia, 34, and Josephine, 31, who they adopted. 

Vera’s long, sleek black hair helps keep her looking so youthful and she recently admitted why she won’t let her hair go grey.

On the May 22 episode of the Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus podcast, the designer shared that her grey isn’t growing in evenly.

‘I would look like a bad skunk,’ she said.

Vera works out and recently mastered the 100-pound leg squat, but her diet isn’t strict. 

‘I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely,’ Wang told Page Six Style in October 2023.

She added that she will ‘order it every day’ for ‘two weeks’ before changing it up for a different meal.

The always slim New York City native also admitted she loves Dunkin’ Donuts, where she indulges in a ‘cream-filled, sugar-coated doughnut.

And finally, Wang revealed one more secret to her fountain of youth:  ‘work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun,’ she wrote in 2020.
