Russian soldiers have committed nearly 90,000 war crimes in Ukraine with thousands of innocent people murdered, raped and tortured.
Victims of the horror have blasted Putin’s thugs as ‘monsters’ and ‘animals’ after they invaded a year ago.
The Ukrainian government has logged the atrocities which have taken place since the invasion on February 24 last year.
The southern city of Kherson suffered 8,000 crimes as it was occupied for eight months before Ukrainian soldiers retook it in November.
Torture chambers have been found including one dubbed ‘The Hole’ where prisoners were electrocuted and beaten.

Kiosk worker Svitlana Melnyk, 42, lives near it in the battle-scarred Antonyms area of the city.
She told MailOnline: ‘I heard men and women screaming in balaclavas dragging bodies out.
‘This place was hell on Earth.
‘The Russians were the monsters who came here.
‘We were all scared of them.’
Salesman Andriy Andryushcenko, 28, was held for 47 days by Russian soldiers after being caught daubing pro-Ukraine graffiti on walls.
Andrij, who now works for the military administration, said: ‘They beat me and put electric wire on my genitals and ears.
‘They joked they were making calls to Zelensky or Biden when they did it as it was rigged to an old telephone.
‘It was hell. They knocked my teeth out beat me unconscious.

‘They put dumb bells on my neck and a knife at a back and made me squat down.
‘I thought I was going to die.’
The Russians are dug in a less than a mile away from the port city of Kherson on the left bank of the Dnieper River.
Snipers hide by the river and the Russians fire on the city with tanks.
The frontline city is being shelled every few hours and is like a ghost town with most of the population having fled.
Packs of stray dogs roam the city scavenging for food.
Landscape gardener Nadia Knyaz, 30, shudders as artillery shells land 500ft away as she she sips a coffee in a cafe as she talked to MailOnline.
Nadia said: ‘That was close. It can be very scary here.
‘The Russians arrested my husband when they were here as he used to be in the army.

‘The put a blindfold on him, beat him and threatened to shoot him if he did not tell them where the military were.
‘I was so scared but they let him go after a bit but took our car.
‘They wanted him to collaborate but he said he didn’t know anything.’
She added: ‘Ukraine will win this war, but at what cost?
‘Too many have died. The Russians have been here a year.
‘Time has slipped away since they brought terror.’
Minutes later a rocket attack on a bus stop killed five people and injured 12.
Gunfire and more artillery fire was also heard later as people were ushered into a bomb shelter by the train station.
The scale of the war crimes have been documented by the Ukrainian government who are investigating rapes, murder, torture and bombings of schools, nurseries, homes and hospitals.
However officials believe there are way more than 90,000 war crimes committed by Putin’s men.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President, said: ‘Alas the scale of the tragedy is far greater.
‘For in nearly every liberated town or village we find evidence of torture and extrajudicial executions.’
It is feared thousands of women have been raped during the war.
Children have also been sexually asaulted and a teenager had a swastika turn into her after an attack.
Sushi bar worker Karina Tereshkova, 23, was raped, tortured and shot by Putin’s thugs after they massacred people in her hometown of Bucha north of the capital Kyiv in March.
All but one of Karina’s fingernails had been pulled out.
Her mother Olena Derenko, 42, said: ‘They were animals to her as she fought for her life.
‘I hate all Russians – I put a curse on them.
‘They have caused so much pain. My heart aches for Karina.
‘I cry every day.’
More than 450 bodies were discovered in the town after they were killed by the Russians and 25 women were raped in a basement.
Back in Kherson, people are mourning the dead from constant attacks.
A Christmas Eve attack on a shopping area killed 11 and injured dozens.

Family friend Valerie Luhova, 34, said: ‘Her two girls are devastated.
‘She was such an angel. She looked after animals and children with special needs.
‘She wouldn’t harm anyone.’
