He’s been missing his London-based family as he settles into student life in New York City.

And Victoria Beckham sent a sweet message of encouragement to her eldest son Brooklyn, 18, on Wednesday, sharing a picture of them together alongside a heartwarming message from the whole Beckham brood.

The 43-year-old fashionista can be seen posing next to the teenager in a sweet selfie taken on a family night out.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn was also feeling homesick, revealing he was missing his family and his girlfriend Chloe Moretz, with whom he recently rekindled his romance.

He posted some rather forlorn Instgram stories, informing his followers he was ‘Missing home :(‘ and ‘Missing my girl :(‘.

Discussing her eldest moving away from home, Victoria recently told YouTube make-up channel Pixiwoo: ‘I’m still crying, Brooklyn’s moved to New York, he’s 18, and I haven’t stopped crying. I miss him so much, so much’.

The fashion designer, who was appearing on the show to promote her collaboration with Estee Lauder, has been seen visiting Brooklyn in the Big Apple, where he attends Parsons School of Design.

When speaking about the host getting emotional at her daughter starting school Victoria said: ‘I think it’s great, we’re blessed to have children, it’s a good thing, if you’re sad your baby’s going off to school, you’re a good mum’

Taking to her Instagram account on Monday, the designer also posted a short clip of herself posing in the mirror while promoting her new Estee Lauder make-up range.

Writing her initials on the mirror in lipstick, a dressing gown clad Victoria can then be seen planting a kiss on her reflection.

Victoria captioned: ‘Excited to be coming to @officialbrownthomas in Dublin this Wednesday the 4th! See you there!! x VB @esteelauder #VBxEsteeLauder’.
