Video footage has captured the horrifying moment a dump truck driver veered into oncoming traffic and slammed into a power pole before landing in a backyard swimming pool in Melbourne.
The truck driver reportedly had a coughing fit before he blacked out and lost control of the truck on Saturday in Heathmont, west of the city, according to 3AW.
The man, who appears to be in his 50s, astonishingly walked away from the shocking accident with just a black eye.

A camera on the truck’s dashboard captured the entire crash, which left nearby homes without electricity for hours.
The truck can be seen travelling on Caterbury Road before suddenly swerving into the opposite side of the road.
