Video shows exact hotel room Vegas gunman used for killing

This is the exact room where Las Vegas mass murderer Stephen Paddock unleashed carnage on hundreds of innocent country music fans.

Paddock holed up for days inside room 32-135 at the Mandalay Bay hotel as he planned the killing and amassed a stockpile of 23 guns in order to carry it out.

Tourist Jeff Bridges, from North Carolina, captured this footage of the room when he stayed in the hotel with his wife last year.

The video shows one of the hotel’s Vista suites, located at the end of one of the building’s three arms, which provides a perfect view over where the Route 91 Harvest Festival would later be staged.

One whole wall of the suit is made from glazed glass panels, two of which would be smashed by Paddock in order to create sniper points for his attack.

The spacious room comes with two large seating areas and a bar area with two wall-mounted televisions.

In the bedroom there is a desk up against the window, a chaise lounge and another TV facing the king-sized bed.

Bridges also filmed the rest of the 1,800sqft room, including several large seating areas and the bedroom complete with king-sized bed

It reportedly took police 72 minutes to track Paddock to the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay, by which time he had already killed 59 people

Giving a tour of the room, Bridges says: ‘The best thing about this room isn’t that it’s 1,800 square feet, the best thing is the views.’

He then pans the camera around to show the neighboring Delano hotel, the Luxor opposite, and then The Strip running alongside.

On the other side of the road is the venue where 59 people were shot dead and more than 500 wounded during the attack.

Bridges, who uploaded the footage to Facebook on Monday in the wake of the attack, said he was ‘shocked’ to learn he had stayed in the same room.

‘I thought we stayed on the 36th floor until I went back and reviewed the video,’ he wrote.

As well as carrying out a massacre from the room, Paddock would also shoot himself dead here as police breached the door.

He was found dead alongside his cache of weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition used during the atrocity.
