This is the horrific moment a homeless man was fatally run over by a thief after he tried to stop her fleeing the scene.
Surveillance footage showed a woman entering a Las Vegas AM-PM convenience store at 6.50am on Saturday.
She was then seen placing $15 of food and soda in her purse before fleeing the store.

The suspect quickly walked out to the parking lot and climbed in her car, with a convenience store employee in pursuit.
The member of staff is seen trying to open the thief’s car door, which is locked, before the woman reverses ready to drive away.
At that point, a good Samaritan ran in and leaped in front of her car.
The next moment, the thief put her foot on the gas, running the man down. He died in hospital a short time later.

Store owner, Grupreet Singh, told Fox News the good Samaritan was a homeless man and a regular at his store.
‘He was a good guy,’ he said. ‘He always did good things around here. He was a very nice guy, very helpful.’
Police are still hunting for the woman who fled the scene in her dark colored Cherokee jeep after running over the victim.
