Terrifying video footage shows the moment gunshots were fired at a funeral service in Northern Ireland. 

In the clip, a woman is seen giving a eulogy to dozens of people at a church in Strabane, west Tyrone this morning. 

As she says ‘The time has come to say goodbye,’ she is cut short by the sound of gunfire from inside the building. 

She and the priest beside her immediately flee the stage, as audience members run for their lives and scream in terror. 

Police have confirmed two men, aged 17 and 32, were arrested following the shocking incident on Thursday.

They said a ‘number of weapons’ were also seized, including Stanley knives and hatchets.

A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said: ‘Two males 32 and 17 have been arrested following a disturbance at a funeral in Strabane this morning.

‘No serious injuries were reported. A number of weapons including Stanley knives and a hatchet were seized.’
