The Miami-Dade police department is investigating a shocking video that shows the moment an officer sucker punched an unruly fan during a University of Miami football game on Saturday night.
The 14-second video was first shared by Barstool UMiami, and appears to show four male police officers pick up a woman in a UM t-shirt.
The woman, who hasn’t been identified, misses when she first tries to hit the officer holding her right leg, then lands a slap on his face during her second swing.

Almost immediately the officer pulls back his arm and punches the woman in the face.
The punch seemed to knock the woman out, and she was carried the rest of the way out of the stadium.
The incident happened during the University of Miami’s victory over Virginia Tech at the Hard Rock stadium on Saturday night.
Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told ABC 10 that the department received a copy of the video right after it happened and launched an investigation into the incident.
He said the investigation was still ongoing on Sunday morning.
